How to time a July honeymoon
Book the Migration a year out. Serengeti and Masai Mara camps that sit on the river-crossing routes sell out 10–14 months ahead for July. If you are late, look at private conservancies bordering the Mara.
Use the shoulder hours in Europe. Santorini and Positano are hot and full in July. Eat late, swim early, and pick a hotel with a pool — or shift to September for the same sea with half the crowd.
July is the safest South Pacific weather. Bora Bora and Fiji are firmly in dry season with calm lagoons. Fiji delivers a very similar experience for roughly 30% less.
Iceland and Banff peak now. Iceland gets up to 20 hours of usable light, and Banff's alpine trails and turquoise lakes are fully open. Reserve rental cars and lodges early — both are supply-constrained in July.
